CLUB FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

PBC

Probationary Budget Committee: where a club/org must have completed at least 2 consecutive semesters as a recognized club under department of Student Engagement & Activities (SEA). Introducing clubs to a budget where USG makes sure that the budget is being used to help grow their club.

Club is able to apply for a PBC Budget of up to $900 per academic semester and must be used toward undergraduate body.

SPRING 2025 PBC Deadline: April 27th

Line Budget

After completing at least 2 semesters of PBC, the club can then apply for a line budget which allows for more flexibility of how much a club can acquire & fewer limitations to what the budget is being used for.

USG Grants

Event Grant

This is geared to clubs that need additional funds to make any event of theirs better, whether it be a new event, or a club tradition that has been done for years, and they wish to take it to the next level. This can be used towards food for the event, supplies, or decorations! The maximum amount a club can receive is $3,000.

Travel Grant

This is the National/Regional Event Grant mixed up a little bit, with the absolute maximum a club can receive is $10,000, at $350 maximum per person. If a club exceeds $4,500 total or $200 per person, they are subject to Senate approval, following approval from Budget-Grant Committee.

Asset Grant

A line budget club/organization may request an asset(s) up to $12,500, and any request past $7,500 will require Senate approval. An asset is defined as something that is going to last 4 semesters or more, and is relevant to the club executing their mission statement.

WEEE Grant

This is geared toward clubs that want to host events specifically in the evenings and weekends, with the idea of enhancing campus life! Evening is defined as an event that starts on or after 6 PM and weekend is defined as an event that starts on or after 6 PM on Friday until 11:59 PM Sunday. This can be used towards food for the event, supplies, or decorations! The maximum amount a club can receive is $4500.
