The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate consists of 23 elected at-large representatives and 2 appointed representatives from the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and Commuter Students Association (CSA).
They collectively work towards representing and reflecting the views of the members of the undergraduate student body, and do so by: proposing, reviewing, and approving operational or budgetary actions, writing and enacting legislation consistent with the purposes set forth in the Constitution, and maintain Committee and Agency bylaws to specify the means through which the Senate will fulfill its Constitutional duties.
They also approve of the annual budget that is redistributed to club and organizations, confirm appointments to Executive Board positions and candidates for the Director roles of Events Management and Audio/Visual, and advocate for students by serving on University and USG Committees.
