USG, Student Blood Drive Committee, FSA, and LGBTA, are all working together to host a Blood Drive in celebration of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issuing the proposed guidance to ease restrictions on blood donations by men who have sex with men.

The SBU Student Blood Drive Committee works with the New York Blood Center to facilitate the donation of blood that will save lives across the state of New York. The NYBC provides the medical equipment and personnel, and the SBUSBDC helps set up the space at Stony Brook and provides volunteers!

Duck Donuts will be provided to the first 200 students that come by to donate blood!
