Holi Festival of Colors Celebration

Holi is the Hindu Festival of Colors that is celebrated as a way to welcome spring and give thanks for the harvest. It is also thought of as a time when people can forget about their past inhibitions and have a fresh start. The night before Holi known as Holika Dahan, a bonfire is lit to symbolically burn away all the past pain and troubles, and the next morning, celebrate a colorful and vibrant new future.
